It was almost a year and a half ago that I met Jenny to talk about her wedding. She knew about my photography from some of my past brides whom I had photographed -- Lisa and Chip and Heather and Joey. Jenny was such a calm bride throughout the planning -- especially considering for most of that time she was in California planning a wedding on the Southeastern coast! Jenny & Woody were smart to plan a first look and portraits before the ceremony. I love being able to capture that first rush of emotion and excitement. Woody couldn't keep his eyes off of her -- how sweet!
We snuck away for a few minutes to grab some fun shots of Jenny by herself. I couldn't resist borrowing an old distressed chair in front of an antique shop for a flower shot -- something old, something blue.
Some very yummy cake from Minette Rushing & Custom Cakes. It must have been delicious because I didn't see it last long after it was cut!!!
Historic Savannah Carriage Tours provided the carriage for their departure. How adorable is the coach dog! She was a sweetie.
It was no surprise that her wedding day would be beautifully executed and exude sweet southern charm from the white hydrangeas and monogrammed straws down to the lemonade and candy buffet! Even though we had to dodge some fairly threatening clouds, the sun shown through and gave us a perfect wedding day at Forsyth. Congratulations Jenny and Woody! We felt blessed to be a part of your celebration. Keywords: Savannah Wedding Photographer, Mansion on Forsyth Park, Forsyth Park weddings |
