I always love when couples show up for engagement sessions with a drink in hand. You know things are going to go well when everyone is relaxed and ready to have a good time. That's exactly how Belinda and Nate's fun and sweet session went. I can't believe in just a very short week, I'll be shooting your wedding. 

Karen and John spent a few days in Savannah doing planning for their destination wedding this fall at The Mansion on Forsyth Park. I'm so excited for them. They are a fun-loving, adorable couple that know how to live in the moment. My kind of people! I can't wait to celebrate your wedding day together.

I love this time of year. Not just because it's no longer winter, the buds of flowering trees are slowly opening, and the migratory birds are a flutter, but because it's full on Engagement Session season for me. Since so many of my couples -- okay pretty much all of my couples -- are planning from out of town, often this is the first time we meet. I never know what I'm going to see when I look through my lens but I knew immediately with Shannon and Matt, this was going to be fun and special. They are full of laughter and their joy is contagious. I loved how instantly at ease they both were and almost instantly forgot i was around. That's the bestest!

I love fun couples and brides to be with a contagious laughter. That's Abby and Tony. We laughed until our cheeks hurt, Tony laid down his best wrestling moves on the beach, and Abby made the chilly beach seem all warm and cozy with her amazing smile.

Congrats Abby and Tony! Can't wait to celebrate with you in September!
